- Treatment of adults and pediatric patients ≥3 years with chronic HCV genotype 1–6 infection without cirrhosis or with compensated cirrhosis; or with decompensated cirrhosis in combination with ribavirin.

- Acute HCV infection
- Current AASLD/IDSA guidance recommends treating acute viremic HCV without waiting for spontaneous clearance, using the same regimens as chronic HCV; abbreviated SOF/VEL courses are not recommended.[9]
